April is Autism Acceptance Month and the Northeast Arc is partnering with the Salem News and the Gloucester Daily Times to recognize people living with autism with an essay contest.

WBZ’s Levan Reid visited Lynn Classical High School to learn how Pathways to Opportunities is preparing students for careers in the human services field, while also offering mentorship, life-skill building, and paid internships.

Northeast Arc is proud to be a women-led agency. To mark Women’s History Month and Developmental Disability Awareness Month, we asked our leaders to name women who have inspired their work.

Brightview honored Neal in early February at the company’s annual conference in Baltimore, Md. As part of the trip, Neal was able to take his first-ever plane flight. At the conference he enjoyed meeting other Brightview employees from across the country before being honored on stage.

Dr. Bryant has over 30 years of higher education experience and was recently named one of the 50 Most influential People of Color in Higher Education in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

These funds will provide critical information and support to families supported by Northeast Arc’s Family Resource Center.

February is Black History Month, a time to honor and celebrate the accomplishments of Black Americans. It is an also an important opportunity for self-reflection and education on issues relating to race and equity.
