Northeast Arc has been named a Top Workplace in Massachusetts by Boston Globe Magazine. The agency is also being recognized as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Champion
This is the first year that Northeast Arc has been recognized as a Top Workplace and was ranked 19th among the largest employers in the state (those with 1,000 employees or more).
“I am thrilled that we have been recognized as a Top Workplace and DEI Champion by Boston Globe Magazine,” said Jo Ann Simons, president and CEO of Northeast Arc. “This award is a testament to our staff. We are the human services leader in our region because of our incredible team and this award is recognition of everything they do to change lives and discover abilities every day.”
NeArc is being honored as a DEI Champion in recognition of the inclusive practices the agency has put into place. These include the completion of a strategic initiative that looked at diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility throughout the organization and the development of an action plan to create a more inclusive environment.
Northeast Arc will be featured with other Top Workplaces in the Sunday, December 8, 2024, issue of Boston Globe Magazine.
