Northeast Arc will honor Darcy Immerman, Senior Vice President at Carrier NORESCO, at its signature fundraising event, An Evening of Changing Lives, on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Encore Boston Harbor.

“The Changing Lives award recognizes Darcy’s longstanding commitment to Northeast Arc and her dedication to creating inclusive opportunities for people with disabilities,” said Jo Ann Simons, President and CEO, Northeast Arc. “Darcy is a longtime volunteer leader who has served as both Chair of our Board of Directors and Co-chair of the Campaign for Linking Lives. Her boundless energy and quest to innovate the way disability services are provided make her the perfect recipient for this award.”
“The Northeast Arc has incredible reach and impact. My husband Stephen and I have always focused on supporting organizations that promote social equity and real inclusion, which is why we were drawn to the Arc,” said Darcy Immerman. “In my various roles at the agency I’ve worked to share with others just how fantastic the Arc is and how many lives it touches. While I am honored to be recognized by Northeast Arc, I like to think I’m sharing this award with the other donors, volunteers, and Northeast Arc team members who have been my partners in this work.”
In addition to her work with Northeast Arc, Immerman serves on the Governing Board for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Power and Energy Society. She is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology.
An Evening of Changing Lives features an inclusive fashion show where individuals supported by Northeast Arc are partnered with local celebrities and business executives to highlight their abilities. The co-chairs of the event are Jenny Holaday, President of Encore Boston Harbor, and Ralph James, local philanthropist.
