Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Inc. (PLAN of MA & RI) has made a $100,000 gift to Northeast Arc. The gift is PLAN’s third donation to NeArc, representing the organization’s commitment to inclusion for people with disabilities and autism.
PLAN of MA & RI is a nonprofit organization proudly serving people with disabilities — helping them to preserve their assets, protect their benefits, and to live well. The organization has now committed a total of $275,000 to support Northeast Arc programs and services.
In 2021, PLAN of MA & RI was named the exclusive special needs planning partner of Northeast Arc. This partnership is meant to assist people with disabilities in securing their financial freedom so they can live independent and inclusive lives while choosing for themselves how to live, learn, work, socialize, and play.
“At Northeast Arc we provide support to individuals with diverse abilities throughout the arc of their lives. Part of that support means helping these individuals and their families prepare for the future. We are proud to partner with PLAN of MA & RI to provide important financial planning resources to those we support,” said Jo Ann Simons, President and CEO of Northeast Arc.
In recognition of its financial support of Northeast Arc, PLAN of MA & RI will be a presenting sponsor at the 2024 An Evening of Changing Lives Gala at Encore Boston Harbor on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
