The Learning Center
Building Possibilities
The Learning Center at the Northeast Arc offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in a community child-care setting with an integrated center model. The Learning Center offers an alternative clinical delivery model for ABA therapy which allows individuals to access services in a school-like setting with peer models. ABA is the science of learning and behavior, and our Learning Center incorporates this science into all the classrooms within the center, creating an ABA structured learning environment. The Learning Center is a place where individuals of varying abilities will develop important social, emotional, and developmental skills in an individualized way. The Center is a mix of individuals receiving intensive 1:1 ABA therapy, siblings of those children and Northeast Arc staff’s children.
Staff in the center consist of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), licensed Department of Early Ed (EEC) teachers as well as Board Certified/Licensed Behavior Analysts (BCBA/LABA). TLC is managed by the Program Administrator (EEC Director) Tammi McGrath and the Clinical Program Director (BCBA/LABA) Jill McEntee.
