Water Wise Program Featured on WCVB
WCVB featured the Greater Beverly YMCA’s Water Wise program that teaches swimming and water safety to children with autism. In 2017, our Arc Tank competition, funded through a gift from Steven Rosenthal, provided a $30,000 grant to the program to help it reach more families. Autism Essay Contest Winners
To mark Autism Acceptance Month in April, the Northeast Arc Autism Support Center partnered with The Salem News and Gloucester Times to hold an essay contest. Entrants were asked to write a short essay about autism in the workplace, either from the perspective of someone with autism, a family member, or a coworker.
