Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Inc. (PLAN of MA & RI) has made a $100,000 gift to Northeast Arc. Joan McGrath, Executive Director of PLAN of MA & RI, presented a check to Northeast Arc during a visit to the Center for Linking Lives at the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers.
PLAN of MA & RI is a nonprofit organization proudly serving people with disabilities — helping them to preserve their assets, protect their benefits, and to live well. The organization has now committed a total of $175,000 to support Northeast Arc programs and services. A portion of PLAN’s gift will support the Campaign for Linking Lives. In recognition of this latest gift, Northeast Arc dedicated the “PLAN of MA & RI Family Enrollment and Resource Center” at the Center for Linking Lives.
“When families come into the Center for Linking Lives they know they’ll be connected with critical support and resources. This financial support from PLAN of MA & RI will ensure that Northeast Arc will be able to change lives and discover abilities for the individuals and families we support,” said Jo Ann Simons, President and CEO of Northeast Arc.
In 2021, PLAN of MA & RI was named the preferred special needs planning partner of Northeast Arc. This partnership is meant to assist people with disabilities in securing their financial freedom so they can live independent and inclusive lives while choosing for themselves how to live, learn, work, socialize, and play.
“I could not be more excited to be able to partner with this organization again because our missions are so complementary,” said Joan McGrath, Executive Director of PLAN of MA & RI.
