Transition Workshops & Training

Northeast Arc offers a variety of opportunities for parents and teens to become more knowledgeable about the challenges and choices they’ll face in the future. One such program, the “Supper Club,” brings young people together for six weeks to learn about topics like home safety, employment readiness, social skills, and personal health from qualified guest speakers. We also offer an ongoing “LifeQuest” training series for parents that covers a variety of relevant topics related to rights, services, benefits, and transition. We also have a Self-Advocacy Group which meets regularly to learn and practice self-advocacy skills.
