The need for human services is at an all-time high in Massachusetts, but many individuals and families are simply not able to receive the support they need. Recruiting and retaining a robust and diverse workforce – and paying them a living wage – remains our biggest obstacle to meeting that demand and helping people live the fulfilling and happy lives they deserve. Without adequate staffing thousands of individuals and families languish on waitlists for critical services. During our annual advocacy breakfast you will hear firsthand from families about the devastating impact of waiting for services.
