Intensive Medical Supports

The Northeast Arc is recognized as a leader in providing supports to people with intensive medical needs. This housing model was developed to provide participants with the clinical and medical supports they need to live full and happy lives in the community. All of the services offered in our 24-hour Residential Supports model are provided. Additionally, more intensive nursing case management  and increased staffing supports are provided.

The Northeast Arc works with homecare agencies, particularly Northeast Clinical Services , in providing additional contract nursing hours for skilled needs such as care for a Tracheotomy and use of a ventilator for respiratory issues. Assessments performed by insurance companies determine the level of contract nursing hours a person is able to receive. State of the art medical equipment is utilized to maximize a person’s health.

Please contact JoAnne Wahl ( jwahl@ne-arc.org), Chloe Browning (cbrowning@ne-arc.org)
