Deaf Services Case Management

The Northeast Arc’s Deaf Services program has been recognized as outstanding since its inception in 1986. Our Red House was the first housing option in this region that provided supports for people with developmental disabilities who were also deaf or hard of hearing.

Each house or independent apartment within our Deaf Services program is staffed by people who are either deaf/hard of hearing themselves, and/or are fluent in American Sign Language or Visual Gestural Communication and have a solid understanding of Deaf Culture.

Each location has equipment provided to maximize independence and maintain safety skills.

  • 24-hour services

  • Less than 24-hour services

Please contact JoAnne Wahl ( jwahl@ne-arc.org), Chloe Browning (cbrowning@ne-arc.org)
or Susan Brady (sbrady@ne-arc.org)
