There are many ways to connect with our active volunteer program. If you have a little spare time and like to be part of a team, volunteering at the Northeast Arc not only will enhance the lives of children and adults living with developmental disabilities, but also your own!
Do you like sports? How about helping with our bowling or basketball teams? You may even have your own athletic expertise that you want to share.
Feeling artistic? Our renowned ArcWorks! program brings area artists and our individuals together in a studio setting, with some spectacular results.
Is your company or school group looking for a team-building or community service project? We have many group opportunities and we can build a day of service or ongoing project around your needs. It’s as easy as a phone call to the Northeast Arc.
If you have a special affinity for toddlers, our First Steps Child Care facility, which provides daycare to typical and cognitively delayed youngsters, is the place for you.
Like big events? The NortheastArc hosts several large fundraisers throughout the year, all of which require lots of volunteers to be successful. We could use your help.
Our Friday Night Happenings and
Saturday outings provide you with the opportunity to “hang out”
with teens and young adults, while providing a fun experience for
everyone.
And much more…
Volunteering is rewarding in so many
ways. You will gain experience that can help you in your own career
and/or bring new meaning into your life. And while you are sharing
your expertise you will play a vital role in helping people realize
their dreams for a full and meaningful life. To find out more about
